Ask what happens when a delivery is short
In this illustrative example, a five-location practice places an order. One site receives fewer cases than expected, but the invoice bills the full quantity. Someone needs to check the receipt, contact the supplier and follow through on a correction or credit.
Ask each provider who would do those tasks and how they’d confirm the issue was resolved. A payment, invoice match or order status can’t tell you whether the right quantity actually arrived. Our invoice discrepancy guide follows that correction through to accounting.
